Forgotten

Demon lay on the cold moss. Frozen cold. He suddenly opened his eyes and only seeing frozen water. He let out a howl and tried to transform into ghost form.

It was no use, the ice held all his limbs solid. He heard low patting nearby.

Is someone there?

He could see, not to far, were 4 unmistakable paws walking on the top of the frozen lake. He shouted but knowing the wolf could not hear him. Or could it? It stood there, alone,silent,probably listening for more. Demon let out a loud howl and then felt a sudden rush of heat through him. The ice began to crack and he kept on howling. The ice finally gave in and water started pouring in but not before the wolf on the ice left the pond and got onto land.

Demon flew up fighting the strength of the water pushing him up. When he was at least 4 meters away from the torpedo beneath him. His fur quickly darkened and dissappeard and he reappeared next to the wolf. Both of them watching the ice cold water, for some reason twirling.

"It's quiet pretty." Her eyes followed the swirling and twirling of the water. "Sometimes life feels like that. A swirling mass of blackness that never seems to stop. Wouldn't you say?"
A gust of wind blew over the icy water and the spinning ceased. "What brings you around these parts. SOmething it tells me it wasn't the lake, because you clearly had trouble swimming." She smiled at bit, her eyes still on the water.

Demon managed a smile.

I dont know. I can't remember anythina at all. I dont know how I got stuck in the ice. I just opened my eyes a few minutes ago and saw your paws. Did you hear me? And where are we?

Demon shivered because the water on his pelt was still ice cold.

Wait, who are you?

"I apologise, but I don't trust you enough just yet to give you that kind of information." She raised an eyebrow and smiled.
"We're very far west from my territory. I dont' have the right to attack you, seeing as it's not my land. But if we were, you'd have some explaning to do."
She flicked her tail, 'Well. It was nice meeting you." She looked over at him. "But stay off my territroy unless you want something, hmm?" She flashed her teeth, then leaped into the air and morphed into an eagle, flying off toward her territory.

Demon quickly took once last glance at te whirpool and turn in the direction the wolf errr eagle had left.

He ran up a tree and flew above the tree. He swirled and turned into ghost form and followed the eagle. He became her shadow, so he could not lose her but she was fast and that took energy from him.
